The votes have been counted, and it turns out 636 people in Brownbill Ward put me as their first preference on the ballot card. I’d like to thank every one of those 636 people for showing your trust in me and in the campaign I’ve been part of to #Vote1ForOurFuture.

I may not have secured a seat in council but this experience has brought me closer to this great city I call home. This election also offered me the first opportunity to exercise my vote as a new Australian.

The end of this experience calls for a celebration and I would like to share this with my supporters, friends, family, and fellow candidates.
