On Monday 21 August 2017, I launched my campaign as a candidate running for Greater Geelong City Council – live on air in Mitchell’s Front Page on 94.7 The Pulse.

This was my debut in politics, and it felt like taking step into unknown territory, not knowing which kind of questions and issues I’d be confronted with. However, the response that I instantly got from friends on Facebook was incredibly encouraging:
